Hello! I'm a runner, a writer, and have run across the United States and the Tour de France course. Most recently, I'm blogging about my adventures in an MFA program that will bring me to Chile, Argentina, and Brazil, and my teaching plans for Argentina.
Congratulations Zoe!! I am so happy you accomplished your goal. Isak, Josh, and I wish we could have been there to celebrate with you. Take care and keep us informed of your future endeavors. Remember, you are always welcome here in Greenwood, MS!!
Congrats Zoe! It’s been a blast following the blog along the way. Honestly, I’m kind of sad to know it’s over. Your blog got me through many boring lectures. What an amazing accomplishment.

perusing yr blog for the last 4 months was like reading chapter after chapter of a great book you don’t want to end.
you’re truly an inspiration to all who have followed this great endeavor.
thanks for making us part of it.
much love,

Congratulations. I live in Denton, Tx and I’m a runner. Had I known about you, that you were coming through my fair city I would’ve met you at the city line and accompanied you through town. Probably chastised you for choosing to run down the dangerous US Hiway 380 as well. Since reading about you in my local paper I’ve followed your blog daily. You’ve made me laugh and smile, you’ve more than once brought a tear to my eye. You’re an inspiration to me and, I’m sure, to everyone you met along the way.
I’ve been worried for you that after this is all over, and now that it is, you may feel empty or in some way depressed or lost. You mentioned it yourself in a post a couple of days ago. Well just rest up, take in what you accomplished, think of the places and things you’ve seen, and then reflect on the people whose lives and hearts you touched. What you did was amazing. Again, congratulations. You’re awesome!!
David, email me at billmarkunas@yahoo.com; reflect on zoe’s run, i am from haskell to your west; is 380 bad for running across texas or should one take 82?
Hey Sweetie, tried to call you yesterday but I am sure that you know your “MAILBOX IS FULL”. We are very proud of you and relieved that it is over. You know that the angels were running with you. Let’s have fun when you get home. Love ‘ya, Maggie
We are all very proud of you. It has been a pleasure reading your posts each day. From a fellow runner, they will truly be missed. Good luck in all of your future endeavors.
Dear Zoe,
Congratulation! What a wonderful accomplishment. Glad that you had a safe and fantastic journey! You are an inspiration…
Warmest regards,
Anne
Congratulations, Zoe! Love that big grin in your last pics! I can only imagine how jubilant you must have felt when you finished and your family must have felt to be reunited with you. Rest, relax, reflect on your accomplishment and get a pedicure! 🙂 I’m imagining you traveling “at the speed of light” driving home to Maine with your folks. Be happy! Be well!
Congratulations!! I have followed you along the way, from the time I met you and your parents. I wish you the best at your future endeavors as I know you will succeed. If you or your family ever visit the Tall Cool Pines of Ruidoso, please stop in and stay a while. May God Bless

Thank you Noah! So happy we did get to run a bit together and that I made a new friend in the running community – I think your story had us all inspired, my family was still talking about it at dinner that night : )
My Dearest Zoë…you have chased a dream and caught it ! I have so much to say and look forward to kicking back with you and talking for hours …I hope you will find another dream to chase , something tells me you will !!
I will miss reading your blog and the places it took me , the people it introduced me to , the tastes of the journey , the mountains we all climbed together , the bridges and water towers that greeted us along the way …I’ll long remember the hills of California , the deserts of Arizona , the high and low plains of New Mexico , the Texas dust storms , the ever changing green slopes of Arkansas , the Alabama Spring , the sweet winds of Mississippi , the watermelons of Georgia and the South Carolina finish…forever remembered will be your smiling face , your great big loving heart and the successful desire to make the lives of so many Boys and Girls better .
Dream on …..
I love you …always have and always will . Dad xoxox
