The Boys & Girls Club is a non-profit youth organization with clubhouses located throughout the United States and on US military bases worldwide. The clubs provide a fun place for children to go after school and during the summer, where they can play sports, get help with homework, or learn new skills, like playing chess or learning to cook. It’s a lively, positive place where kids can play, learn, and grow. The Clubs encourage children to build character, form goals and chase dreams, and surpass their potential as students, friends, and citizens. Collectively, they serve nearly 4 million youth annually at their 4,000 locations, and depend on the kindness of donors to keep their doors open, which they have managed to do since first opening in 1906.
